IMO 2007 ShortList

Hi guys,

IMO 2008 is coming up these days. Thus the IMO Shortlist 2007 will be provided as .pdf-file here. Thanks to Andrei Frimu, Omid Hatami, Son Hong Ta and Ashwath Rabindranath who helped me gathering posted ISL 2007 problems on this site.

Problem URLs

And we also would like to know the problem proposers and their country. According to the UK report 2007 IMO report: Geometry problem G5 (IMO Problem 5) is proposed by Christopher Bradley and number theory problem N6 by Kevin Buzzard and Edward Crane. IMO Shortlist Problem, C4 was proposed by Omid Hatami. Mohsen Jamali and Nima Ahmadi Pour Anari, Iran, are the proposers of IMO Shortlist 2007, N5.

I added the problems to the Resources section.

Re: IMO 2007 ShortList

Thanks and congratulations to Omid and Christopher for two of the very few (ca. four) good problems on this shortlist...

Thanks.

I don't have the .tex-file but I know at least one person who has it. But unfortunately that member of previous IMO Problem Selection Committee has a different opinion from me about providing that file publically. If at all he thinks these kinds of materials (original pdf etc.) shall only be shared via the official IMO web page and any other web page as ML/AoPS is deemed to be inappropriate in his view. More details only via email for the more interested reader.
